Beacon's self-esteem program for students, parents and teachers --- EPIC (Every Person Influences Children) --- was primarily authored by Beacon founder Thelma Farley and is currently used in thousands of schools across the country. Beacon's graduates routinely achieve standardized test results that are significantly above grade level and rank in the highest percentiles nationwide. Our graduates go on to high schools, which maintain the highest academic standards, where they adjust easily with the vast majority making the honor roll and winning other accolades. Beyond high school Beacon's graduates have been accepted at the finest colleges and universities. Our graduates tell us their Beacon academic experience more than prepared them for the world of higher education and beyond. |
