(K-5th grade) Open Houses Middle
School (6th-8th grade) Open Houses K-5th grade Open Houses are for adults only. Prospective Middle School students are encouraged to attend an open house with a parent or guardian. Reservations are required. Weekly tours of the Elementary and Middle School begin in October. Early Childhood tours are held every three weeks beginning in October. Reservations are required. We cannot accommodate drop-in visitors. Applications may be obtained during your visit to our campus. Please phone the Admissions Office directly at (510) 437-2311 to reserve your space at an Open House or on a school tour.

Beacon
Day School, located in Oakland California, is an independent co-educational
school for children from age 3 through the 8th grade. Beacon was
founded in 1982 with a premise to educate children for life in today's
knowledge-based world, by providing the tools, skills and approach
that establish independent learners. The Admissions Committee seeks
students and families who will thrive in the educational community
at Beacon Day School.
