Beacon is a supportive and inclusive community comprised of parents, students and staff who actively participate in the life and spirit of the school.

Beacon Day School Family Association
The Beacon Day School Family Association provides a forum for parents and guardians of Beacon students and supports the needs of the school in a variety of ways. Each year the Beacon Day School Family Association (BFA) funds special projects as well as ongoing activities for the school. The BFA publishes the monthly school newsletter; sponsors a teacher appreciation event; produces the annual Scholastic Bookfair and a variety of other events. The BFA meets approximately eight times a year and all parents/guardians are invited to attend.

All families are members of the Beacon Day School Family Association and are assessed annual dues of $55.00.

Parents are encouraged to participate in the Beacon Day School Family Association to whatever extent is comfortable and feasible. The Association recognizes that most parents lead extremely busy lives and have limited time for other activities. Those that participate find it to be an enriching experience.
